Who We Are

Delicious Spoonfuls Fl Inc. is all about empowering, training, and employment for people with Amazing Abilities (also known as Special Needs or Disabilities). We are serving ice cream, coffees and desserts that are the best (based on national testing) with our ice cream cart at events in South Florida. Call us to schedule future events!

We look forward to serving at your birthday parties, food truck events, office parties, social events even weddings and Bar/Bat Mitzvahs! We focus on what the individuals CAN do rather than what they CAN’T do while providing training to cover any deficits.

Our Story

Delicious Spoonfuls began with our son, Adir, who has Down Syndrome. Though highly capable, he had limited job opportunities after high school. Inspired by his love for cooking and supported by Chef Helen’s and Dr. Rob’s backgrounds in education and special needs, we envisioned a place where individuals with disabilities could learn, work, and thrive in a restaurant and ice cream parlor setting.

In 2017, we visited Soul Café in Michigan and saw the power of an integrated workplace. Motivated by that model, we launched Delicious Spoonfuls with the mission to create opportunities for people with disabilities to cook, serve, create, and grow — proving that learning and inclusion are just as fulfilling as a delicious meal.

Our Mission
